Updated 3/9/2020

If you are interested in enrolling your child at our school, it is best to come in and visit for a tour and a chat with the principal. However, at the moment we are not able to run tours due to COVID-19 restrictions.

We will advise you here if and when tours recommence.

In the meantime, if your child is a sibling of one of our current students or you are in our enrolment zone (find this out by going to  www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au and enter your address), follow the instructions below and send in your enrolment form right away.

If you are outside the zone and know that you want to enrol your child at BEPS, please follow the instructions below and when you send in the enrolment form, tell us why in the email you send.

If you have any questions please, contact the office, on 9387 3361.

To enrol in Victorian government schools, you need to:

  • Complete a comprehensive Student Enrolment Form 2021
  • Provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Provide a copy of your child’s immunisation status certificate

If your child has parents residing in different households, you may also wish to complete an Alternative Family Details form.

The Department of Education and Training’s (DET) policies on admission into Victorian state schools, including the age of enrollment, are available here.

Our school’s child safety policies can be viewed here.

Starting Prep next year

Parents who wish for their children to start primary school next year should read this Enrolment page carefully.  It is important to register your interest so that you are taken into account when planning for the new year. You can do that by filling in an enrolment form and sending it (hard or soft copy) to us at Brunswick East Primary School, 195A Stewart Street Brunswick East, 3057 or email us at brunswick.east.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au

Each year, BEPS provides a comprehensive transition program for students and their families to participate in, to help ease into the school experience. Although we don’t know exactly what this will look like for 2020, it will include:

  • School Tours (if possible)
  • Parent information sessions
  • Classroom experiences

Keep an eye on the Starting Prep page for updates for next year’s Prep enrolment and transition program.
