BEPS OSHC would like to Acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we are on, the Wurunndjeri People and pay Our respects to the Elders Past, Present and Emerging
Brunswick East Primary School Out of School Hours Care Service (BEPS OSHC) operates in the OSHC Room and School Hall with access to the Art room and the external grounds each school day.
The Service Coordinator is Ranita Swamy (Rena). Kerryn Cilia and Lucy Rodrigo share Coordination of the Beforecare program of the program, before school.
The before-school care program (BSC) operates from 7.30am – 8.45am and includes breakfast (on request). The after-school care program (ASC) operates at 3.30pm – 6.00pm each afternoon – a nutritious afternoon tea is provided. Both programs offer a daily plan of activities that are play-based, child-centered, and inclusive experiences, focusing on the developmental, social and recreational needs of all the children.
Student-free days operate on numbers when they occur during the school year.
Vacation Care is currently not operating through BEPS OSHC. Please contact Moreland Council Holiday Program; 92401111. Please note that this is a completely separate program to BEPS OSHC.
The National Quality Framework guides and underlies all our practices and procedures. BEPS OSHC has a commitment to upholding the Safety and Protection of children and maintains the Child Safety Standards throughout its practices and procedures.
Enrolments for the OSHC program are managed through the My Family Lounge portal.
Please contact the service Coordinator once you have registered via MyFamily Lounge and prior to starting care for orientation into the service.
We currently have a staff pool of 15 Educators, who are all qualified; either in childcare, have a teaching degree, or are in training. Our team members bring a diverse array of skills, interests, and knowledge to the Programs. Both the Before and After School Care programs are licensed to offer care for 136 places, at a ratio of 1 staff member to 15 children. We are an approved OSHC Service offering the Child Care Subsidy to eligible families who are working or studying.
