Strategic Plan and Annual Implementation Plan
All Victorian government schools are required to have a Strategic Plan which is a three or four page document describing what the school wants to achieve in the future and how it plans to get there. School councils are responsible for ensuring that schools have a Strategic Plan that sets out the goals and targets for the next four years and the key strategies for achieving them. The Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) (one for each of the four years of the Strategic Plan) describes how the key improvement strategies in the school strategic plan will be put into operation in each of the four years of the Strategic Plan. Input to the Strategic Plan is sought from staff, parents, carers, students, and the wider community.
