The BEPS Friday Markets are a beloved community event that brings our school together in a fun, social, and vibrant atmosphere, as well as raising funds for the school.
The markets are run by the BEPS community, for the BEPS community. They provide a unique opportunity to meet new people and bond with familiar faces, while raising funds to support our school.
Each Learning Community takes turns hosting a Friday Market throughout the year. Curiosita, OSHC, and other groups at the school can also host. These events rely on the support and time commitment of our community to make them a success. Your involvement helps ensure the markets are fun and raise important funds for our school.
Raising Funds for BEPS
The markets are not only a fun way to spend Friday afternoons – they also play a vital role in supporting the school:
- 50% of the funds raised go directly to the host Learning Community, helping to purchase books, learning materials, or other educational tools that benefit all students.
- The remaining 50% goes to the general school fundraising, supporting broader school initiatives and ensuring that BEPS continues to thrive.
The Principal will update the community in their newsletter on the funds raised at each market and how they will be spent.
Get involved!
The Friday Markets are an enjoyable and rewarding way to contribute to BEPS. Whether you’re donating baked goods, volunteering your time, or simply attending to enjoy the food, your participation is valued and helps support our school community.
Families will receive event information via email closer to their Learning Community’s allocated date. Please check the School Calendar for future Friday Market dates.
