Instrumental Music Lessons

Brunswick East Primary School offers a range of instruments for our students to study with private tutors during school hours.

The benefits of learning an instrument are known to positively carry through into other areas of our lives and help to enrich our community.

Choir

Singing in the school choir is a joyful experience that helps children build confidence, express themselves, and connect with others through music. Everyone is welcome to join and be part of the fun!

Students in Years 1 to 3 can join the Junior Choir, while students in Years 4 to 6 are part of the Senior Choir. Both choirs have the opportunity to perform at school gatherings and markets, as well as community events, such as the Sydney Road Festival.

Choir Participation

To participate in choir performances, students must attend weekly rehearsals. Reminders will be given on rehearsal days.\

Brunswick East Primary School acknowledges the over 85,000 years of care and Custodianship of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation for the lands and waters that it resides on. We pay respect to Wurundjeri Elders, past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Their sovereignty has never been ceded and this always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. We live, learn, and gather as a community on Wurundjeri Land and commit ourselves as Aboriginal people, Torres Strait Islander people, and allies for today and future generations, walking together.
