Brunswick East Primary School (or BEPS as we fondly call it) is located in the heart of Brunswick East, close to CERES, the Merri Creek, and the bustling Lygon and Nicholson Streets.
At BEPS, our students are at the centre of everything we do. Our school celebrates the diversity of each child, embracing both their unique learning styles and their whole person. We set high expectations for all learners, because we know that with the right support, every child can reach their full potential.
Children are natural explorers and curious thinkers. Learning at BEPS is underpinned by the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, with a focus on providing voice and agency in all children’s learning. Through a combination of student-centred learning and differentiation, we aim to foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Here at BEPS, children and teachers work together as communities of learners. In fact, our class organisation is based around mixed-age groupings in flexible Learning Communities.
At BEPS, our incredibly engaged community is one of the key features that sets us apart. Our school is truly part of an extended family, and we promote home–school partnerships and open communication. We cherish how our community contributes in shaping a nurturing, creative learning environment where both academic and social growth can thrive.
I look forward to welcoming you for a tour of our school so you can experience the BEPS way for yourself.
