Friday 13th November, 2026

The BEPS Annual Twilight Market – a fun-filled evening that brings the community together – is the highlight of our school’s social calendar. This much-loved event is a perfect way to celebrate as we head toward the end of the school year. It is also our main fundraising event which helps us to support some wonderful school initiatives.

As always, there will be entertainment for the kids and grown-ups: food, drinks, rides, maker’s market activities and student performances.

The Twilight Market is a wonderful evening so invite your friends, your family, your neighbours and come along to create lasting memories by joining in the fun.

Our 2026 market will feature:

Entertainment

  • Rides
  • Sideshow Alley – Roll up! Roll up!  Lots of prizes to win.
  • Student performances (ukelele, keyboard, band, vocal)
  • Silent auction
  • Photobooth
  • Facepainting and hair decoration
  • Gingerbread decorating

Delicious food and treats

  • Cake stall: cupcakes, cookies, gingerbread, slices and lots more – easy nibbles for kids on the go.  For those looking to take something home, there will be whole cakes, homemade jams, preserves, and other delicious goodies.
  • Food: sushi, falafels, BBQ, spit, crepes and the return of pizza, cooked in the BEPS’ wood-fired oven.
  • Bar: beer, wine and, of course, the famous Brunswick Mule cocktail.
  • Homemade lemonade, snow cones, popcorn and last year’s very popular Choc Tops will be back in their very own location.
  • Coffee cart

Looking after the school and the environment

We run a waste wise market and to help achieve this, we have reusable plates and cups and wash stations to help minimise our environmental impact. We strive be able to recycle or compost any waste created.

Brunswick East Primary School acknowledges the over 85,000 years of care and Custodianship of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation for the lands and waters that it resides on. We pay respect to Wurundjeri Elders, past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Their sovereignty has never been ceded and this always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. We live, learn, and gather as a community on Wurundjeri Land and commit ourselves as Aboriginal people, Torres Strait Islander people, and allies for today and future generations, walking together.
